ARRIVED IN GERMANY I/55, SENT TO SAUMUR 3/55. DEPARTED TO US LATE JUNE/57. GRADUATED FROM 7 th ARMY NCO ACADEMY, MUNICH, GERMANY , 9/56. AT SAUMUR, MY DAILY MOS WAS WORKING WITH FRENCH CIVILIANS AT THE CAVES TRANSPORTING SIGNAL SUPPLIES. PLAYED ON TRAVELING SOFT BALL TEAM .MANY THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED PUTTING TOGETHER THE WEB SITE, REUNION, etc.

I arrived in Saumur in April of 1956. I was a teletype operator for the 2 1/2 years I was there. Pulled KP the whole time I was there. I left Saumur in September of 1958. I have friends that I get to see twice a year at reunions. I would encourge anyone who has never attended any of the reunions to do so. You will not regreat it. Thanks to the folks who put it all together.

I was in Saumur april 1960 until june 1962. Radio repair was my mos. Had a great time wihile I was in France and cherish my time in the Army.

Today is Tuesday May the 8th 2012. I am very proud to be a part of this site and it's people. I wish I could make the reuions but do to bad health I can not so I shall wish with a prayer all the good people a great time. May God bless all the veterans and there familie's. Old Buddy Ed.
